Rank these Kohaks 1st thru 4th...

Rank these Kohaks 1st thru 4th...

Here's my ranking:
B, C, A, D

D is 4th the conformation of this Kohak is not very good, but might have potential in the future to fill out, even with a pointed nose...so the body is goin to be more spindle.

A is 3rd the conformation is cigar shape, the body is a bit thin but not as bad as Kohak D. Kohaks A & D it can be a toss up, but A has a better conformation now. The skin quality is about even on the fish as well as beni quality.

C is 2nd the conformation and overall quality sets this fish higher than the last 2. The pattern is big and bold, but I am sure it will be more imposing once the conformation comes up a bit.

B is 1st the quality of this koi is above all of them. Even thou it is a simple nidan it still beats out the rest. The conformation is very good on the fish as well as the skin quality. From the tip of the nose to the end of the tail it is clean soft white.

B C A D for me!

Aquitori, these threads are most appreciated, but please more controversy and no answer up front. (Like the Sanke!)

Thanx again and keep teaching!

I like your sentiments about keeping us on our toes with the Sanke thread style, but in either case most educational and much appreciated.
BCAD is also my pick, and the edges on D look suspicously dappled, which is too bad because it does have the most pleasing pattern even though it is weakest in all other respects.

I would have to say, B D -A & C even

How old are they? What breeder? Do they act normal or swim around all crazy like?

The breeders are Takigawa and Momotaro. They are all Nisai and are about 18-19" so they are in the same size class.
