Koi kingdoms and respect

Umm, I am confused and don't have a lcue as to who is being referred to, I dont even want to try to guess. The hope of this thread was making peace, plz don't muddy that up.

BTW, I don't care if someone has a cool car who he had do different parts of the labor, personally. I would avoid doing some of the hard work myself if I could. Who wants to spend weeks grinding rust out and doing body work or rebuilding an engine when there are experts well able to do it better than any of us could in our home? I would rather have a shop capable of blueprinting and upping my compression ratio and HP than doing a mess in my garage and calling it rodded out........I have yet to meet someone who can do blueprinting in their home garage.

BTW, the point of this thread was for those of us in different koi kingdoms to treat one another with respect.



Disrespect for anyone is not welcome on this thread, no matter who they are or what they have done. Plz do not use this thread as an oppurtunity to express who you do not respect. I understand your feelings and you are definitely entitled to them, but you are kind of going the opposite direction of the intent of the thread. You are always free to start your own thread about that. Just don't be surprised or offended if it gets tossed outside.

It is a good chance for those of us who have reacted badly to things we dislike to apologize for that reaction and make peace, not get riled up and offended all over again.

BTW Joe, I for one really appreciate you on this board. Just stop screwin my thread up man.....
I also want to know how aquitori is doing and how tewa is. I hope JR is doing well too and making some money in bonds....

yes, i am making a correlation between those who pay others to restore an old car and then give the impression that they did the work themselves and those who have others design, build, and maintain a pond for them and then give the impression that they did the work themselves.

i am not implying that anyone on this board does this, and i do not know of anyone on this board who does this, but i do know of one person in the hobby who does this and i would guess that there are a lot more.

the thread is about respect, i am giving an example of the type of person i do not respect.

ummm, I do not know what to say, I don't think you are trying to mess my thread up but it seems to be kind of happening anyway.....not that u r doing it on purpose, it might be the way some folks respond to certain comments and words, or they may be assuming you are referring to someone they care about.

I know I have taken things personally before that were not, at least my wife says I have.....

Joe, that happens to me alot. Do you have the same learning disability that I do, cause sometimes I just dont get it.

This is how I explain it to my wife.. If I say something stupid, which has the uninentional effect of upsetting her, it was an accident, when she says something mean back, that was malicious.

i don't deny having a line down somewhere. i rub a lot of people the wrong way. i think it is partially because i am very difficult to offend, so i don't realize what is offensive to others.

Joe we know who you are talking about. you do this ALL the time trying to stir the pot. Its REALLY getting old. You constantly drop these thinnly veiled little comments. just stop...ok? Your wrong about him and you only make yourself look foolish with your comments.
