cool pond project

Very tidy design, Pigeon Guy.

I always try to make sure that I can get an old fat man and a wheelbarrow any place I might need it around the pond. Are you only 2' from the house?

The skimmer, TPR and waterfall should work real well together like that, I think. The waterfalls that aim at me when I approach the pond, are easily seen and heard from sitting spots, and face me when I feed my fish are the ones I consider to be the best design and construction.

Good feeding spot...front and center.

Steve: Ran across another "birdman" in carolina last night. Lots of swans, peacocks and pigeons. Small world....Didn't see any indoor ponds but some great lakes with koi in them.....

looking forward to seeing the finished product!

The bottom 2 feet of the walls are solid rock, and the back hole couldn't reach all the way to the far end so I went out and rented a big-a** jack hammer today and straightened them out. I'm tired, my back is killing me, and I broke ma toe! Don't ever drop one of these beasts where you don't want it.

Next it's cleaning out the mess then in go the bottom drains.

The race went very well Beth. We won it! Had 3 birds in the money, 1st, 13th, and 20th.

Got my bottom drains run today. Now I'm just waiting for some free concrete to anchor them with. If you let concrete compamy's know you will take their extra, if they have a pour near you they will come over and give you the left over. Cheaper and a hole lot easier than mixing it yourself.
