the marketing trend these days is to breed the GC and then sell her babies to the biggest pocketbooks in the world.

I remember standing in line to get a chance at a mask of the diamonds baby from sakai hiroshima..her first release to america. I was one of a dozen folks to get one.

Now after a decade: what would my readers digest summary be of that move? Dumb & expensive !

As valuable as a GC is, its value can drop as soon as the next day, especially for things like Bekkos.

I meant regular champions, koi valuable one day because of their 15 minutes of fame, then not so much. Bekkos can be overlooked. Obviously not a gosanke.
