Kohaku B is the 2000 All Japan Combined Show MC and the 2003 and 2005 All Japan Rinyukai GC. It is owned by Shigekatsu Takahashi.

Kohaku C is the 2001 All Japan Combined Show GC. Not sure if this is the oldest AJCS GC bred by SFF, but oldest I could find. It was also the first time (officially) that a non-Japanese won AJCS GC, since this Kohaku was (is?) owned by Yang Lih-Ching from Taiwan.

Kohaku D is Sakura Hime, twice winner of the ZNA GC titel (1997 and 2001)

Kohaku E is the 1999 ZNA GC.

Kohaku F is the 2000 ZNA GC.

Kohaku G is the 2002 All Japan Combined Show MC and the 2005 All Japan Combined Show runner up owned by Mark Crampton and Martin Plows.

Kohaku H is the 2005 ZNA GC owned by Mr. Nobuo Takigawa.

PS: Brian, I need those back issues of KB Can't find out which Kohaku are owned by Mr Takigawa

LOL!

I do get out very much, just sleep very little and have this mind that remembers way to much and if it doesn't have the answer, it remembers where the answer is if I've ever read it!

But this can't be all there is to it. Anybody know which koi belong to Mr. Takigawa, and if the 2001 AJCS GC was the first SSF AJCS GC?

LOL's

Hi Derrick,

Glad to see you here.

Takigawa owns D, E, F & H. D is the famous Sakura-hime, E is Ushiwaka-maru the 35th ZNA GC at Fukuoka 1999 (83Bu, 6 years old at the show), F is Benkei. Don't know much about H though.

Cheers,
Dennis

Sakai Fish Farms took Grand Champion at the 2000 All Japan Combined Koi Show with their "Tanaka" Sanke. You can read about it at

Derrick, Dennis and Nishikigoiboy, thanx for your answers. I guess when we get all the answers right, Sensei will tell us

One thing puzzles me though, the 2000 AJCS GC Tanaka Sanke doesn't get mentioned on the SFF site, where all the other prize winners do?????

I'm not BS-in
