| My water is deep green, filled with algae particles....This time of year in Michigan, my pond receives 10 hours of light, but its only 4 hours of direct sunlight. Only half the pond receives the directs sunlight although. My fish are healthy, and suprisingly have been very hungry this past winter....La Nina has made the winter optimal for my Michigan koi..But since my filters are not running I am afraid the excess fish waste has caused an increase in algae growth...This spring, (and I think it may be an early spring) I would like to eliminate green water early. My new pond has been runnung since early August. I was never able to clear the water before the winter air moved in......So I know this forum must have some insight in what they believe is a effective U.V........My budget is $500, perhaps someone is selling a U.V. light which I may be interested in.....Thanks for your time...... |
