HI all
I will be arriving in Orlando at the 23rd March, on vacation with my family. I will be staying in Orlando for 11 days them going down to Clearwater for 12 days.
I would like to visit some koi dealers why I am there. Could anyone pinpoint me in the direction of any in these area's?
Also I would like to obtain American Marine PinPoint monitors ph,orp, condy, salinity, does anyone know of a store in these area's that sell these?

Regards
Roy.

pinpoints are sold by Aquatic Ecosystems right there in Orlando. Website is http://aquaticeco.master.com/texis/m...ch/mysite.htmlMost of the higher end Koi dealers are up in the northern U.S., but there are a few in the lower area of Florida around Miami. You can also check the http://www.cfks.org website for the vendors attending the show in March and get some of the addresses etc. of a few local dealers. There is a Koi farm in the area that does have some nice Koi and maybe some high end ones and that is Blackwater Creek. Their info is also on the shows website.

I would not plan on visiting any high end koi dealers in the clearwater/tampabay area. There just don't exist in that area.

However there are plenty of fine seafood restaurants along gulf blvd. in pinellas county along with beautiful beaches.

Crabby Bill's in Indian Rocks used to be good, but that was a few years back. There are plenty of places along Gulf Blvd from Indian Rocks on down to John's Pass.

Sorry you aren't coming earlier. You could take in the big show March 10-12. But, on weekend of March 25-26 there is a big plant sale festival at Leu Gardens. The Orlando Koi & Pond Club will have a booth with aquatic plants and (hopefully) some tosai for sale. Drop by and say hello!
