The certificate is at the office, but basically congratulates the recipient and honors the recipient with a special award from the Rinyukai. I think it is approprite to call it the Rinyukai Chairman's Award.

Here is the award that goes with the certificate (set on the long towel which also will be presented). The award is approx. 7" tall.

Dinh, come on! I'll give up my 8' show tank for you...you'll need it. If the fish arrive that are supposed to be coming, it's going to require 30+" to contend for GC.

Thanks for offering Mike. To bad, don't have any koi with that size to be qualified - my largest is just 25".

BTW, why it has to be 30+ ? Shall it be all about quality, quality, and quality instead of size? OK, size does matter I guess....;-))

A. Dinh,
According to the grapevine, there will be at least ten 30+ gosankes to contend for GC at CFKS. These gosankes are not only big but exceptional quality and that why Mike meant by this 30+ rule

LOL .. conspiring to bringer a ringer?

Well, it was reported to me that as of this morning there is still one tank available for show entries ... but just one! Of 52 tanks being set up, 45 have been taken by exhibitors, 3 are set aside for dealers' fish and 3 are reserved for emergency use (in case a tank collapses, fish spawn, etc.). That leaves just one, unless we cut back on the emergency tanks. If there is much more interest, we'll need an "annex" for show fish! What a wonderful problem to contemplate.

52 must be the biggest koi show event in America, Am I correct? How many show tanks Koi America had recently? In the west, ZNA SoCal is the best, it has many koi entrants with real high quality. But not so sure ZNA Socal has 52 and more...

Qs:

1) Does Central Florida Koi Show allows people to enter the fish without the being there? If it's OK, we may want to sign up for that last tank and to send some fish to support the show from Northern California koikichi as well as some koi lovers from newly born ZNA NorCal chapter...;-))

2) We, KB folks, have KHV Flyers for KHV information to bring KHV awareness to koi folks and general public as well as AKCA KHV research funding information. May I ask a permission to send down the KHV flyers to display on the Koi Show Information desk? If not Mike, who should I contact to obtain the permission?

Khanh --- interesting idea;-)) how about come to the All Bay Area Koi show, I am sure that 38" Kohaku is the one that you love to see it again in person.
