A quick yahoo search came up with this. I have not used it either.

O.S.I 168- All Season Growth Pellet Diet is a year-round, stable koi diet. Easily digested wheat germ is added to maximize absorption. Silkworm Pupae meal, spirulina and garlic are added for flavor and potential heath benefits. Spirulina and shrimp meal provide pigment sources to help maintain bright, beautiful colors in your fish.

Feeding Instructions:

When temperatures are above 50F (10C) feed two or more times per day. Between 45F to 50F (7C to 10C) feed once daily. At each feeding add no more than what the fish will consume in 5-10 minutes. Below 45F ( 7C) do not feed any foods.

Guaranteed Analysis:
  • Min. Crude Protein 34%
  • Min. Crude Fat 4%
  • Min. Crude Fiber 4%
  • Max. Moisture 9%
  • Min Ascorbic Acid (Vit.C) 200mg/lb
  • Max. Phosphorous 0.7%
Ingredients:

Whitefish Meal, Wheat Germ Meal, Wheat Flour, Brewers Yeast, Soy Protein Concentrate, Spirelina, Shrimp Meal, Dried Silkworm Pupae Meal, Garlic, Ground Brown Rice, Fish Oil, Lecithin, Vitamin A Palmitate, DL-a-Tocopherol Acerate, D- Activated Animal Sterol, Thiamine Mononitrate, Choline Chloride, L-Ascorbyl-2-Polyphosphate, Calcium d-Pantothenate, Inositol, Niacinamide, Riboflavin Supplement, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Folic Acid, Menadione Sodium Bisulfate, Biotin, Vitamin B-12 Supplement, Ethxyquin ( as an antioxidant).

OSI is famous in the tropical fish food industry. They are now getting into the koi food market. The product is made in China under OSI supervision. From what I saw and read when Maria the West Coast distributor came by was the fact that the food contains silk worm pupae. Containing the Silk Worm while bringing the protein down to 34%. Looks good maybe better than Hai Feng...

Oh yeah, Mulberryjen is using it maybe she can throw her input in mix.

Never used. As Tony says, OSI has a good reputation for its flake foods in the aquaria trade.
