Torazo Jumbo Tosai Kohaku ?

I think we got enough Maruyama Kohaku threads lately... Let's swing to other breeder... How about this Torazo Kohaku?

All good, bad, ugly comments will be greatly appreciated... Tell all, don't hold any thing back;-)))) . Same koi, different shot..

Thanks Luke. No, it is not deform at all. Koi was moving fast while taking pix.
Here is another shot for better look in the tail tube....

Are you sure THIS FISH is a jumbo tosai from Torazo? It looks more like his nisai. By the way, which dealer has these fish? Look rather interesting!

Dinh,
I really don't like Torazo bloodline. Torazo beni is more orange, and Torazo for me has always been more likely to shimi because of Sanke background. However, I do have one jumbo Torazo Kohaku. Your kohaku is nice.

I just bought 2 nisai kohaku from Torazo in October '05. Both approx 18"-19". Their beni is anything but orange - see below

Koiczar,
Orange type is OK as long as it's thick, but the Torazo beni seems thinner.

Pretty thick male Torazo Kohak, I saw it on PSKoi's website...Pretty nice, probably go by their shop tomorrow to go check out the Maruyama Tosai and whatever Nisai they have left.

Wow! Wow, I already said that. Wonderful fish. Is it to finished? Did you say a 17 inch tosai? That's about as big as they get. The beni and the white are as good as it gets. Good luck-I'd buy it.
