Alot of nice Jumbo Tosai. Got done watching the DVD "Breeding Koi", pretty cool watching how they breed at Sakai Hiroshima...All very nice will be hard to pick and the prices will be high....

thanks for the link.

im not the first to discuss this but i was hoping someone with some real insight could inform us all?

its just that i always wonder what the true quality is of these jumbo tosai sold by sakai and momotaro at auctions.

they sell for a lot of money it seems, yet the koi are a huge gamble being so young that they could loose the hi in the next 6 months and the shape could go to pieces,

i can only guess that the koi are average or just above but large, otherwise they would be kept for another year?

I think #60 is a stunning showa, a showstopper. His koi get better every year.
