Sakai Spring Tategoi Auction

Sakai Spring Auction Jumbo Tosai!

The long anticipated Sakai 2006 Spring Dealer's Auction will be held at the Sakai Farm in Hiroshima on March 14th and 15th (please note that this will be March 13th and 14th in the United States).

Follow the link below for a review of the spectacular koi that are scheduled to go on the Auction block. Test your koi selecting skills to see if you can predict which one of these beauties will prove to be a Champion.

Although the focus of this Auction is on "Guaranteed Female" Jumbo Tosai, there will be a number of incredible two and three year olds offered, including this spectacular Showa, daughter of Olive II

As usual, Pan Intercorp will be attending the auction and will be ready to bid on your behalf. Koi purchased at this auction will be eligible for grow out in Sakai's mud ponds for the 2006 season.

Koi purchased by Pan Intercorp in previous years at this auction have gone on to win in numerous Koi Shows all over the world, including Kokugyo and Shubetsu prizes at the All Japan Show.

Call us at 1 800 827 5819 or email pan@koi.com for details on having Pan Intercorp purchase one of these world class koi for your collection.

Caveat

Yes, I realize this is blatant commercialism, but I thought I would post it anyway and see how badly I get crucified

well they all look rather yellow and the patterns aren't very snazzy...but they are priced right..I'd even buy the first one on the second row for 40cm... How much is a "cm" in American? Does that include shipping?

Bidding usually starts out around $500.00 but rarely stops for under 2 or 3k. A number of these Tosai will sell for well over 10k

Best Tosai

Kentaro says that number 64 is the cream of the crop of this year's Jumbo Tosai. At 30cm she may not be one of the largest but she sure is pretty!

Joel,

So, if I want to bid for one or few koi on that list. What is the process? Do I have to tell you the start and max bid $ that I can go? or I just give you a blank check?
