Yes.... I know astaxanthin is a carotenoid, I also know that carotenoids are color enhancers.... What I was saying is "kusuma" may not find shrimp, krill, or spirulina on the ingredient list. Also, the package might not directly claim to be a "color enhancing" food.
Astaxanthin is a very common fish food additive, probably right up there with spirulina, but it is also an ingredient that unless you know what it is, you could easily glance over it.
