Sure Ann will love to do that.... Guess what Tony? My camera dropped into Champkoi pond last week....Need to bypass koi for new camera;-))

whoop, I think Dan (dcny) did a great job for taking a lot of wonderful pictures at ABAKS and sharing to all of us here to view... Love the info and logic way he managed to post here last time. I hope Dan will be here again for this coming show....

I want to wish you all the very best as I am sure you folks will all have a great time. I dropped the ball on this one and have followed this thread all the way.today. Been real busy these last few weeks or I would be there to support. I am looking forward to know how the concept of plastic bags will work out in the USA . I see a new trend here to help our Judges job a little easier.

Well, the show was great!!! We had a pretty good turn out of local hobbyist. I would like to thank Tom & Agnes Lai for sponsuring the event. Also, Mr. Grant Fujita and Mr. Chai T for judging this small local show. I didnt get to take and pics of winners but here is what I remember.

Grand Champion - Ann Nguyen Kohak(Hosokai) from PSKoi
Baby Grand Champion - Khung Doan Kohak(Ogata) from Champ
Best Baby - Chris Guila Kohak(Sakuma) from Eastern

Best in size 3 - Chris Guila
Best in size 2 - Khung Doan
Best in Size 1 - Long ?

Had to admit the judging could have gone faster, but it was best that it was slowed down so the judges could interact with the public. That meant the crowd could be given a complete compairson of each fish judged for high awards and a judge could give a reason why.

I didn't enter any fish, but did shadow judge this show. Pretty interesting stuff....I am sure Dinh or someone else has pics of the show...
