The 1st Annual Koi-Unit Young Koi Show and Champion Nishikigoi 3rd Annual Event is a go!!! We want all people showing to per-register if they are goin to compete...

I'm going to try to be there early. But I don't think I'd be showing as I don't have anything good to show. Plus I have to take my daughter to her softball game at 4:00 so I'm gonna miss part of it.

Why does softball have to overlap koi season! On the plus side, she's a dang good first base man!

The check is in the mail and the hotel reservation confirmed. I hope to find at least one koi to enter in the show if I can get there early enough. With any luck I should get to Champion just after 0900. Then an over night stay to attend the ZNA meeting the next morning. The event will be another great time for all. I know that the folks at Champion will equal or surpass their efforts of last year. The young koi show with bagged koi will be a first for the area and for me also. I am really looking forward to this weekend.

Just saw the trophies today and I am really impressed with what Champ got for the show ...By the way I saw the shipment of Ogata they got today and there are some strong contenders in there....Will be posting pics of the trophy tomorrow. For those who will be show, please fill out the forms and email or fax to Champ.
