I invite all to compete, even your kids...This is something that the whole family can all enjoy...Dinh, your one of the tosai masters and I think it is rubbing off on your daughter.

Ann spent an hour today at Champ but unable to find any baby koi she likes... Perhaps, she will come back for the next shipment before the show....

Also, let's do some guessing game here for fun.... I predict one of these tall trophies will belong to KU's newest member.... just remember this OK ....

Thats not much of a prediction Dinh . I saw what he had at ABAKS. He ain't playing around and is definately a contender. I'm just hoping he leaves a few scraps for me.

Your Ogawa "X" Kohak is doin pretty good as well as the rest of your fish. So I hope they will do well too...

9:00 am - 12:00 pm ---- "Hobbyist Koi Judging Competition"
(We will give out judging forms to every participant until 11:30 pm, all forms will be collected by 12:00 pm)
Champion Nishikigoi gift certificate & trophy for the grand prize winner

11:00 am - 12:30 pm ---- "Koi-Unit” 1st Annual Young Koi Show
(This show will be the FIRST KOI SHOW USING CLEAR KOI BAGS!!! – less mess and easier for judging)
Limit 4 fish per entrant, size 1-3 (under 8” up to 15”) **Free t-shirt for every entrant**
Grant Fujita and Chai Taevanitcharoen will be judging the koi show


12:30 pm - 1:00 pm ---- Award ceremony for the koi show winners

1:00 pm - 2:00 pm ---- “Oriental Style” Buffet Lunch
(Special Entertainment: Sengen & Koto Musical Performance)

2:00 pm - 3:00 pm ---- "First Champion Koi Auction"
(Koi auction with high grade tosai from breeders in Niigata and Ogata)
Breeders: Koda, Yamazaki, Ogawa, Miyatora, Marusaka, Oya, Jirosuke, Marudo, Ogata and many other reputable breeders….


3:00 pm - 3:30 pm ---- "Raffle Drawing"
(Raffle will be drawn in the afternoon, all pond-related products sponsored by Champion' suppliers)


3:30 pm - 5:00 pm ---- "Koi Lecture & Awards Ceremony"
(Grant Fujita & Chai Taevanitcharoen will present prizes to the winners for the hobbyist koi juding competition, also will give lecture about koi variety and discussion of the winning koi to public)

Jim, I love your showa I saw at the ABAKS. I think it is a potential candidate for KU GC....

The show has people from different states competing and yes there are more people to enter fish as the show date nears...
