Tony,

We are all getting older.... and sometime our memories do not serve us well...

Yes, a BIG THANK YOU goes out to Koi-Unit and the people who hyped up the show and helped to promote the Koi Auction program for KHV cause. As mentioned in other threads. A very special thank you to the people who came far from Hawaii, Kentucky, Florida, Virginia, Idaho, Washington state, SoCal etc... to support the show and KHV program as well...

A big thank you, to Keokoi
Joe
I want to thank you, for all the behind the scenes work you did. I know that you worked your a$$ off for months before the show. You were Larry's right and left arm. With out all your hard work, and promoting the show, it would never have been the success that it was. We had a great time at the show and especially the banquet, at least from what I remember.

Dinh is truly an "ambassador" for the koi hobby - a class act. It seemed like he found time to talk with absolutely everyone that attended the show and share his enthusiasm and a warm smile.

Thanks again to Kevin, Joe, Larry and all the folks who put in ALOT of work to organize a great event. I cherish the opportunity I had to be a completely useless helper and shadow Jolene and a team of judges. Got to see some incredible koi - Dinh's avatar showa included!

Thanks Nancy, a picture isn't always as clear as it was painted dontcha think

Thanks to all, A show cannot be run by one person alone. Many hands had a showing in a succesful show. Truthfully I cannot remember a whole lot since I was busy all of the days until the show ended. I even missed a work day for the show. Anyhow very few stuff I remember from the show as it was all a blur. I do remember someone telling me I am always instigating stuff but cannot back it up or something like that .

Oh well I guess all of my hard work isn't enough for this one individual..

Dear Mike,

As you know, the main goal was not about money. I want to bring the KHV awareness to the general public which I believe this dreadful disease that has the potential to affect anyone and everyone if not stopped. It is also about the spirit of koi people that come together to do something good for the hobby and for nishikigoi appreciation.

In additional to $800.00 raised from the auction for AKCA KHV Research and Education Program, we helped to spread out hundred of Koi-Bito KHV Flyers with KHV information to people. The same KHV flyers I sent to you for your Central Florida Koi show recently.

Best regards,

That's a nice addition, Dinh. And in so many ways, awareness is the key to ultimate success. Good job!

Dinh, will you be attending the KoiPhen or Louisville Show? Maybe we can have you do a seminar on KHV prevention at the Louisville Show, how about it?
