While I was over at the BKKS this past Summer, we hopped across to see Normandy and Paris (ain't rich the wife wanted to go and she worked Summer school for two years). While in Paris the IOC announced that PARIS (which was the front runner) Did NOT win the 2012 Olympics....London did.
And on another thread on here people were stating that there needed to be alot more for the Non-Koi Kichi to do when they took their spouse's to a koi show.
I have already asked the BKKS to consider having the 2012 BKKS National show either right before or right after the olympics. Either way I think I'll be going back to london/paris/sherwood for both events that year....
now if the rest of the world would mark their calendars???????????????
That would be an INTERNATIONAL KOI SHOW THAT WOULD NOT BE MATCHED FOR A LONG TIME...i bet even the Japanese would swing by the BKKS National if they could do both the Olympics and the BKKS National.
We already have an International Show, it's called the South East Section Show its been that way for some years now. Over the years a few Yanks have graced its doors, the Finnegans, Ranson, Orchard, Boland to name but a few. Not to mention Australians, Belgians, Danes, Dutch, Germans, Japanese and South Africans.
bern yeah yeah yeah.... the CFKS is international too....the carribean...and even people from california. brits too.
But I am talking about getting the package together and getting it out there...the International Koilympics2012!
If things go according to my daughter's coach's plans, she could be fencing in that Olympics. I would rather go to London than Bejing. Korea is not the greatest place I've ever been. (which is where I am right now)
There are so many dogs tied up with the other animals, you know they will soon be food. UGH AT least they could be nice to them when they are alive.
Oh and by the way, my kid is the 2006 World Champion for Cadet Women's Saber and Junior Women's Saber. Tomorrow they fence the team competion.
I haven't seen any koi ponds here...

There are some KB members from Korea.... They have nice koi and ponds too.
Check with Dongha Lee, hope he can guide you for a koi/pond tour while you there...I was there last year part of my business trip. Love the place...
Dog food? yup. There are other nations in that region do that as well.
And congratulations to your kid for being part of the 2006 World Champion Women's Saber... and very best luck to your kid.

bern did you?
It was insisted that I rewrite an honest post, or it would be rewritten for me...so I did. i wrote the pretty lie requested, and then I left.
And then awhile later the software was upgraded, or so I heard through an email sent to me by the site.
Strides to makes the BKKS show coincide with the olympics and be a show more spectacular than anything before should be taken as soon as possible...many like myself must start saving for such an event now.
