Humble opinion from an old carpenter...

Building a plumbing manifold is more fun than any real job. Nice work.

Is the "flying arc" heading toward the spitters? and any luck finding heads for them?

Thanks, no that is going to the micro screen in the settling chamber, I might be using Koi fish heads, but have to get the DW to sign off on them

Made a little more progress today, I installed my steps to get in and out of the filter pit and ran two 20amp GFCI circuts to my junction box in the filter pit

Well it doesn't seem like anyone on this site is really interested in pond construction threads so I will stop posting and go else where

Don't Stop Now

I think there are probably a lot more lurkers here than elsewhere, but I don't think that means we don't care. I am really enjoying this whole process and think you are doing a superb job. It is way above average for the quality and finish work.

Stacey,

Don't go. I think the reason for the lack of response is because there's just not much to advise you on. Just look at the number of views you've had. It's clear that you know what you're doing. We certainly appreciate the time and effort you're putting into your pond and posting all the pictures. Everything is turning out beautifully.

So this is what Money can buy, when it has some sense.....
Where on EARTH did you find those "steps"? THOSE are impressive in materials, workmanship, and design.

Ok thank's guy's I'm better now I got my SC today it is 270gal, and it fits in the filter pit ,I also cut a slot in the filter pit floor for the drain.

Luke,

the steps are retro manhole steps for when the originals rot out, I found them at a concrete casting plant for $6.50 each, and you just rotohammer a 1" hole and pound them in with a sledge hammer.

Tell us more about your filtration, what type of media will you be using? Do you have plans for any type of shower?

We r all following your thread, and enjoying it. You haven't asked alot of questions so I think most of us r just sitting back enjoying the process....

You obvisouly know construction and plumbing and masonry, and have your power in there right.....

Maybe you could tell us more about the SC system. I have never used that system so do not know much about it.
