five koi for evaluation!!!

I purchased these 5 koi..and would like to hear some opinions. They have gone through quarantine and are now members of the "herd". They are a doitsu sanke, ginrin kohaku, kikokuryu, sanke, shiro utsuri. The Ginrin kohaku is the smallest at 4 inches. The rest are 5-7 inches. The Ginrin kohaku was home bred by Steve Stone at comets to koi in Ct. I was very impressed with this little guy..as she was the largest fish in the breeding and has been growing quickly. Well, let me know what everyone thinks....thats how I learn.

I like the doitsu sanke. It may become an even more interesting fish & the body conformation looks good so far. The shiro utsuri also looks like it has some flecks of ginrin...is it? Where did the other fish come from?

The other 4 are from blackwater creek. The utsuri has 2 or 3 ginrin specks..breeds them from sekko parents I believe. Sorry the pics aren't better...I'm learning to use my new camera. Using a light blue background didn't help either..the darker blue bowl shows up better.

I had thought you were maxed out, Brutus. ...These add variety to your mix. I like the look of the Shiro.

Nah...not maxed out yet. Unfortunately...bringing them in for the winter took care of that. Could not keep the water healthy with so many fish. Out of almost 30 fish...lost about 10 to ulcers and fin/tail/mouth rot. I will never bring them in again for winter...learned my lesson. My pond is 7,000gal..so, although my fish are small, I keep my limit at about 30.
I liked the pattern on the utsuri...should improve as she grows.
