| Nancy, thanks for posting this. I'll be sloshing dogs and burgers (no fish, this time) for the good of the hobby. Koi Unit, where are you guys? We hope to look at fish, maybe some ponds, and have a good old time. This should be a good time to study and try to figure the future of tosai. SHOW UP! |

| Dick, We all had a good time. About 70 people attended. The food was good-especially the chicken. Sakuma gave about a 45 minute talk on picking tosai with his fish as models. I picked the four showas in order but lost in a raffle. Damn. Lots of nice people to talk to. Thanks Ken- this is a great opportunity for the hobbyists. I still have my eye on a gin showa. Next year, maybe 100 people? I hope pictures will be posted. Nancy, where are you? |

| Damm Mark there was food?? I was so busy I did not get a chance to eat anything. Hope it was good. I think Ken had a really great time and his customers received a great learning experiance and lunch. Sakuma and Toru were both on hand to answer all questions and help select fish all weekend. I sure hope Ken does another seminar real soon. It is a great way to promote the hobby and teach all us koi kichi's. Congrats on your showa picks Mark, sorry you lost in the raffle. I think there was only 2 people who guessed the correct order of showa's. Sakuma had a great weekend, visiting hobbiest ponds, going to dinner with Ken and staff, and a few hobbiest. All in all I think it was a wonderful weekend for all of us. Quote:
