Garry and I met this week to go over the current progress of the show. I drove down to his home for the late afternoon meeting. Garry had just started the process of filling his newly finished koi pond. It is big, raised about 2' above ground, gunite shell, pebble texture finish. Should be close to the 20,000 gal. mark when filled.

Back to the show. We continue to get interest from sponsors and hope to have several more signed up shortly. The initial layout is for 35 tanks, but is easily expandible to almost 50. The venue is easy to get to with plenty of parking. The committee is confident that the indoor facility will not be a problem for the judges.

I think that is a good idea.... In additional to his nishikigoi knowledge, Tony has the koi eyes, he will do well if he is part of the judging team....

Dinh, I think it is better to give those who have been working their way up to be certified a chance. Plus, it's more fun hanging out in the crowds.

Any new info on the show? The show is 2 1/2 months away, was wondering if there are any new details...
