I've read that the bacteria house media for the bakki showers has "far infra-red". What is does that mean?

Its a selling point the manufacturer uses that is of little consequence and requires a lengthy answer combined with a course in advances physics! No proof as to whether it makes a diddly of difference. It's not it's strongest selling point.

That's a lot to sift through . The sad part is that buried amongst the arguments over FIR there is some good info on the media itself which doesn't need any help from FIR to work extremely well.
