DIY Pond Shade Screens...

I decided to build a few shade screens for our koi pond to help prevent any algae blooms this year and to help guard against predators. Additional pics and details are available on my site, Our Backyard Paradise...

I used black shade screen, which I purchased at a local Lowes. It was sold by the foot...

Must be nice...The Lowes and Home Depot near me don't carry it.

I was at Home Depot and Lowes last weekend looking for it. At HD I asked the Outside Garden manager where it was and she said " Whats shade screen?" I kid you not. She did show me the large selection of weed blocker. I then pointed to the screen they use over the shaded plants and said no I need that stuff. She looked at me like I was crazy and said try Lowes...so I did. Nothing there either. Going to try another HD in the area though. Bigger store.

Both Home Depots down here have it...you oughta have it at the big one.
WAIT! They make a "little" Home Depot?
