Wunderflo Pumps?

Anybody out there use Wunderflo pumps? One of my small pumps (2000gph) shot craps last week so I picked up a new 1hp Wunderflo at the OKC koi show yesterday. Self priming, 110/230vac, 8500gph @ 10', 65' head cutoff, 1200watts @ max flowrate.
It looks like a good one, but user commentary is always valuable.

I assume its designed for pool applications and probably OK, if you can afford to run it. Thats ~$100 per month of electricty in our area. If you can get away with a lower head pond pump it would quickly pay for itself.

Talking It's a pond pump

The high head capacity is to accomodate pressurized filtration systems (which I don't have). It will allow me to increase my waterfalls & stream height and volume while eliminating a few smaller pumps at the same time. Running one large pump instead of 3 smaller ones should help offset some of the added utility expense. It comes to $82.50/mo in my area for this pump.

P.S. I calculated the utilities for the pumps I have been using and it works out to about $42.00/mo so I'll be more than doubling my water volume for app. $40.00/mo.
