| In March I got to visit my wild ponds in Florida. As I approached the ponds herons, egrets, and, I thought, a stork flew away. A couple cormorants flopped out of the water. Jeez, and this is water that has alligators. The water is usually stained brown but clear; it is conected to surface water in the swamps to the north. But, with all the activity it was riled and muddy. The pond next to it? No birds. No mud.
It will be a challenge when I start keeping koi ponds on this property with so much wildlife. Messa snakes.
