for me, it's not about the cost. it's always a great pleasure of building something with my bare hands. in some project, the final cost come out even more than purchase from the shop. this is not counting the time I spent on building the project. if I convert the time I spent on the project into monetary value, it'd be a costly project for sure. nothing beat the enjoyment of building something! nothing!!!
