How to upload Pics so they are right size

I do know how to upload pics however everytime i try they seem to come up with too big a file and i have tried win rar to compact them but with no luck, can someone please tell me the easiest/quicketst way to put some up??

Whatever program you use to view photos should have an option for resizing. Just resize the photo so it is smaller.

i ve tried doing this anjd have got it down but not to the sizes required (below), i am using adobe photoshop and have even tried loading up a image in paint

Limits are 1000 x 1300. Your file is 2592 x 1944

Ain't it a pain...

Photoshop and paint are both a bigger hassle than they are worth when it comes to re-sizing . Why they don't have a specific filesize reduction feature is beyond me . I use Kodak Easyshare which allows you to shrink by percentages, to a thumbnail, or "best for web". The Best for Web reduces them to 30-45kb, which is well below maximum for the forum.
