Question Name That Pattern

Is this simply a two step pattern or does it have a specific name?

I think you could safely call that pattern, YOWZA! Nice fish!

First thing that comes to mind: "Hawaiian Lightning" - very dynamic pattern, wow!

Purdy!

I would call that a two step, or Nidan Kohaku. Almost Inazuma (Lightning stripe or "one step" kohaku)

Do you own this fish? I hope so. Take especially good care of this one. It's going to provide you years of pleasure and enjoyment watching it cruise your pond. Definitely in a league of it's own! Who's the breeder?

I agree with Bob W. This is a two step but it's pattern type is also of the inazuma style. When Japanese breeders call a fish what ever they call it, they often talk about the atmosphere of the fish. This fish has the atmosphere of inazuma. But technically it is a nidan.

man, that is very good kohaku with the excellent body conformation, color, and simple, but very interesting pattern. Any details info such as breeder, size. Is it your new collection or still available on the market;-)) if it is available, i want it . Yes, it is a two-step kohaku.

Talking Brutuscz Wins the Washer and Dryer, AND the Home Game! *L*

Yep, this 17" sweet sweet female is CALIFORNIA BRED by fishmaker on eBay. She is still on the market. I'm saving up for one like her but I'm not there yet, so if any of you win this auction you had better share pics as she grows. Right now she's a piddly $156 with 3 days to go.
