Hi Brian

Thanks for the update, I know many have waited for along time for an answer. This is my opinion and mine only, have you figured out exactly from an x number of subscribers how much each magazine needs to be sold for to give you a decent income and all other expenses paid? Currently the magazines are selling for I think 19 AUD i cant remember what the subscription price is for again but were you to sell it at 19 or 22.5 USD per issue would that cover?

I know I personally love the printed version and am willing to pay that price. Maybe you can mass email subscribers and ask them again.

That is a Ditto for me. I think that if people want to see the online version of the magazine, they should also have to pay for a subscription. Those of us that have already paid for our mag subscription could use our remainder up on the online version. New subscribers can pay for the online version only.

Talking I Agree with Nancy!

Why not have a subscription for an online magazine?

Brian,

I appreciate your post and your efforts. Although I prefer the print magazine, as long as the quality of the content stays at it's current standard, I'd be willing to pay for a subscription online as well.

As fas as other potential sources of income, have you considered more installments of Nishikigoi Philosophies DVD? The production and postage costs of DVDs should be less than that of the print magazine. I'd certainly be willing to pay for a series of DVDs that were of the quality of the Momotaro production.

Good luck in whatever you chose to do. We're happy to support your love for koi, because you support ours.

Brian,

reading your post is leaving me with some mixed emotions. Happy ones to hear your health is improving, saddened because of the thought that KB-mag might end as a printed version. It's not that I don't like to read on the www, but just love the KB-mag quality, and the possibility to pick it up from the bookcase.

One suggestion: maybe you should get advertisers to produce their own pictures and adverts, and delivered/mailed to you.

I wish you all the health and wisdom in the future.

Rgds

I was clearing out old mags recently. I've run out of storage space. The club-sponsored ones are going as space is needed. K-B and Rinko get priority. ...timeless information. I'll be glad to have them in the paperless society that lies ahead.
