just finished watching a cubs-cardinals game. Cubs took the game away today as they did into extra innings last night.

cubs got all the hardware.... BUT,was a tremendously competitive game. Kinda like a koi show...congrats to all...those who worked hard to put it on, those that sucessfully got their koi there and back. those that got awards...without all of you the public would not be able to see such a beautiful collection.

I am so pleased to see more and more shows going to the "b" award for a worthy non gosanke! 3 cheers!

and yes ad me to the list of those who would love to see pics and know who judged...

baseball game...
2 teams
1 wins

50% winners...even if the game is "competitive"...or not
Competitveness has nothing to do with the number of winners in a Baseball game.
Wait are you telling me there were only two people showing koi in the larger sizes?

Photos of Dallas Show winners

Sorry it took so long. I was exhausted after tear down.
The photographer for Adult Champion was me, and the rest was Joe White.

The Grand Champion is a Torazo kohaku supplied by Nishikigoi of Niigata, 3 years old, in Tom and Jennifer Walker's pond for 14 months.
The Reserve Grand Champion is a Maruyama kohaku supplied by Yoshida, 4 years old, in Carsten Pedersen's pond for 2 years.
The Grand Champion B is an Isa goshiki sanke supplied by Nishikigoi of Niigata, 3 years old, in Tom and Jennifer Walker's pond for 2 years.
The Adult Champion is a ? male showa sanshoku supplied by Yoshida, 5 years old, in Carsten Pedersen's pond for 3 years.
The Young Champion is a Yohie taisho sanshoku supplied by Yoshida, 3 years old, in Carsten Pedersen's pond for one year.
The Baby Champion is an Omosako shiro utsuri supplied by Cross Timber Koi in Oklahoma, a in Carsten Pedersen's pond since Spring.
The Best Tategoi is a Sakuma male gin rin showa sanshoku supplied by Yoshida, 3 years old, in Ray and Martha Jordan's pond for 2 years.
The Best Male is a doitsu sanke owned by Eddie and Rosie Elizondo.
Most Unique is a midori supplied by Nishikigoi of Niigata, owned by Tom and Jennifer Walker.
The AKCA award is a shiro utsuri supplied by USAKoi, owned by Tom and Carol McWhirter.

Sorry if the information is incomplete. After running the judging software under Sherri White's mentorship and seeing photos of 88 fish, my eye and brain hurts.
