I am realizing that each day that I visit the farm. I brought home a scoop to watch grow and am amazed at how fast they are changing now at 9 weeks.
Very few are showing actual emerging sumi but most shiro fry are all presenting with underlying sumi. I hope that this is a normal trait at this stage. Am also seeing a number of showa popping up here and there as well as ki utsuri and a few others that I am not quite sure about yet. Then there are those marvelous kawarimono. You already know that I have a soft spot for the unusual.

Am sure that I will be working this pond well into December. Please PM me when you start seeing some results. I would love to start makeing some notes and some comparisons. Talk to you later Dick.
