New Editor for KoiUSA. mag....

SteveC will be the new official Editor for KoiUSA starting in the next few months.
I hope Steve will help to turn the mag to the new lips as well as new taste...

Congratulations Steve, Editor-In-Chief

No problem Jim. You know we are all KB mag lover here, but we all need the other to fill-in for the waiting period... you know, but I am sure Steve will do a great job.

Oh, perhaps, we should ask Steve to write a short message about how he feel about KB mag and KB forum in his first Editor's Desk... It is just an idea Steve

Childers, Childers, he's our man . . .

Congratulations, Steve! You da man for the job. Oh, and Good Luck -- 'cause you're gonna need it.

Watergardeners (et al.) outnumber people with dedicated koi ponds (like us) by what: A thousand to one? Totally different approaches, likes and dislikes. And they're the ones who buy KoiUSA. Most of us quit buying it long ago, all the while decrying it's decline.

Since sales drive advertising revenues, and advertisers target buyers, changing the focus of the mag can and will change those dynamics.

If "We" win, "They" will lose -- and I don't think "We" can sustain (much less improve) total circulation. An unfortunate conundrum, to be sure.

the name of the mag is "KOI USA".... Perhaps, it shall be changed to "KOI and GARDEN USA" for reflextion to the true data and content of it...;-))

Congrats, Steve. Great choice ... but does this mean you can't post any more? ...another conundrum.

Congrats to the new editor SteveC, hopefully he can move the magazine to a different direction, since he is more into koi than watergardening....

I liked the magazine back in the day, but too many ads....I dont subscribe anymore and dont think ever again. The Kodama articles are the only thing interesting to read...

You have got to be kidding change the name to add the word " garden" , I think that would be a cold day in hell, before Bob or Joan Finnegan would allow that to happen.. I think that with Steve's knowledge and background he will be able to make vast improvements with Koi USA.. Give him time I am sure he will prove himself to all.
