I was there as you know Dick but I didn't take any pictures. This was the 1st Koi show I have attended so I have nothing to compair it to but the show was great. Very well organized, koi I have only seen in magizines. Norm won both 1st and 2nd. His koi were awesome, but so were many more. I esp. liked his Kujaku. But my favorite was a Doitsu Sanki owned by a couple that live up Hoods Canal somewhere I think. The people of the Roseburg club are super, they really made me feel welcome, and really put on a great show.

They are having a grow out contest. All the members bought a baby Showa, all bred from the same parents. The fish were picked by lottery. And will be judged at next years show. I joined the club and brought this little guy home for my grow out fish. I'm pretty pumped and really looking forward to the Portland show.

Getting a koi in a grow-out project makes it all the more fun to watch them develop.

Hi Birdman.

Joining the OKWS must make us cousins. The OKWS and SE-BKKS are sister-clubs.

I am now going to give Norman Call an ear-bending for keeping this quiet.
