split fin?

I am just wondering if jump tosai got a split fin, what's the change of recovering as the fish grows?

I have some 2 and 3 years old koi that got split fins few years ago. All recovered after 1 and 1/2 years....

Steve it should heal back in a matter of months, just watchout for secondary infection.

Antonio is right. Fins will heal quickly if no secondary infection sets in. I had a Koi that broke the leading ray in one of it pecs in half. I put it to sleep and used super glue to join it together again. There was no infection and it healed completely.

cool. glad to know that split fins is not a major issue. thank you for the tip on infection. Need to keep close eyes on it.
