pH crash???

I just had my kois all died suddenly in a quarantine tank because my pond is in rebuilding process...I've check the water readings. pH was 2,8 TDS about 350, temperature about 29 celcius.
What makes me curious is what really happening to the water? I'm using OASE biotech from my old pond to be installed on the quarantine tank which about 3 ton of water. Anybody has the same experience?

Thanks,

Sorry for your loss. I use baking soda to keep KH in an exceptable range after nearly having the same thing happen. Here rain is very acidic and is sometimes a trigger. Our source water is has very low KH.

Did you add any chems and what is the pond made of? That is a stiff drop, even for acid rain, which I would not rule out. Are there any active volcanoes within a few hundred miles of you?

Water temperature last reading was 29 degree celcius. The quarantine tank was filtered using OASE Biotech from my old pond which I thought its biological filtration would have mature already.

One quarantine tank filled with about 10 kois size about 50 - 72 cm Dick. I didn't feed them at all, only once of 2 weeks with small amount only. I acknowledged that the stock may too many for the quarantine tank, that's why I didn't feed them to avoid ammonia, nitrate and nitrite rising.

Lastly I found that some kois had fungus on their body and head area, so I tried to cure them with 3% salt + teramycin. 3 days later, all kois were just get okey then I changed the water about 30% to flush out the antibiotic waste. Then a week later I found 2 of the kois having fungus back again and I did the same medication to them, and last night was the 2nd night but I found all the kois breathe hardly. The water had many bubbles and I quickly test the water and found the pH down to 2,8 while TDS hit 500+. I just don't have any idea what was happening.....

I did some medication of fungus to the kois JR. As my 1st medication was success, then I did the same method to cure them but the result was out of my thought. All the kois were in quarantine tank which made of PE (I think) and lately there was no rain at all and even if there was, the rain wouldn't get to the tank directly cause I put the tank in an area with canopy.

There was volcano activities far faraway from where I'm staying. But I don't see any relation between volcano activities with what happen to my kois.
