Eagle would be nice.
Rose would not make me sad either.
Also, the Kansuke GC kohaku would be nice.

Momotaro has a ton of nice koi that would make me smile. I am soo jealous of Maurice's Eagle line parents. I must find a way to talk him out of those one day. Maybe I can trade him a Spanish doubloon gold coin from a pirate ship here and some old baseball cards for them. Think he'll bite?

I also deeply appreciate Genjiro, Kansuke, Sakai, Ikarishi, and Jimbei. And that white magoi would not be a bad thing to have for dna injection. I wonder what a white magoi and a pure Sadazo sanke would produce.

Someone must preserve Jimbei's line. It should not be allowed to pass into history without proper recognition and respect.

I would want at least one "unusual" fish. I pick this one.

When you can pick any or all koi you desire without having to worry about the financial side of things, what would be left to dream about. It would surely take away part of the exitement of the hobby! Come to think of it, I could help some people that have way to much money regain that part of the hobby (and solve my financial problems at the same time ;-) )

Koi I dream about owning would be a true jumbo Kohaku, superb skin and very thick Ozutsu. Rose line probably.

How about "Big Rose"

http://www.koi.com.my/cgi-bin/koifor...statt_id=7187;
Now is that a beautiful fish or WHAT? And she's only a nissai at 61.5cm

I saw my dream Chagoi at Eastern Nishikigoi last Saturday, but Nancy told me I couldn't have her. At any price. So I left, sad and dejected...

Yup, that's her. Don't think I could have carried her on the plane anyway. In the alternative I'd find Dan and Gene's Asagi acceptable, and they're a lot closer. But I hear they have armed guards and big dogs...

Earlier today I read this thread and thought a lot about it.
I have my dream fish. I took a good look at Ms Munch and watched her swimming around. I love that fish. She is a doitsu ochiba and she changes color all the time.
I think she is spectacular. I bought her from Rod McConkey last summer at the NW Koi show. I still love this fish more than any other.
