Well, these fish are from the Donguri and Sakura bloodlines. As far as size goes they are pretty much even.

the pics I'm getting are too small, first of all, for any decent judgements, and second, it looks like some are photoshopped (shiro for instance) and some aren't. Too tough to judge the strength of the hi, kiwa, even the finnage. I guess head shape and body conformation could be judged but the photography differences are a little unfair for some of these fish.

(solely on the fact that I THINK that the "F" fish was the latest champ and IF the fish are lined up chronologically, well i figure that the koi get better each year....)

Sorry for the bad pics...If the overall quality(Conformation, shiroji) are even, then you judge next the pattern. Remember these are fish from the big 3 shows in Japan. So how would you rank the fish in order by pattern preference.

I like a full pattern both horizontally and vertically ...

While my first choice isn't as full as some of the others it has an artistic touch in the body pattern and the pattern on the head is exactly what i like....round and starting in front of the eyes and fills the top of the head.
