Those living near certainly have reason to pay a visit. Fortunately, I do not have an upscale dealer anywhere close by my home. My will power would not be strong enough.

Yes, He Did Buy and Run!

Dinh did get a sanke, but it is still here in quarantine. We do not let any one take Koi home before they are ready. Dinh has the the lone Sanke in the third picture from the left.

Russel,

Nice fish. Look nicely colored up. Any idea about male or female? The one sanke in the second photo catches my eye but I'm wondering if it's male. Good whites on all the fish. Nice job.

No, it is a female.

Don et al

Here are a "few" of the nisai. The first pic is a new arrival 14" female(?) sandan budo goromo.
The second goromo is approx 19" nisai female with beautiful ai netting beginning to really come on strong.

The next three are all nisai female goshiki between 19-20" in size.

The above are all from Sakai - Matsunosuke

The last two are a "new" line of crossing from Hosokai Farmn Niigata. They call them ochiba X Goshiki. Due to the imaging of digital photography the beni appears to be darker in color than what you see in person. The beni is more of a persimmon color and the reticulation looks soft like soragoi. These fish were purchased during the October '05 buying trip at about 13-14". Both are females and have now attained the size of 17". Not bad for being at a dealer facility over the winter!!??

All these fish and hundreds more are available at PSKoi. Russell has really stepped up to the plate this year and is offering some truly stunning fish for VERY REASONABLE PRICES. Check out the web site at pskoi.com.

I enjoyed looking at the pix of Russell's nisai you posted -- and surprised myself by liking the ai goromo the best. Whooda thunk it?

Don

What Ai Goromo?? If you're referring to the second pic, it's actually a budo. The reticulation is just starting to really fill in and is some of the most stunning I've seen in quite a while.
