The web hosting upgraded KB website without a proper data back up. Data can only get back from the backup tape. I am sure some threads after the last backup is lost.....

I've been on a short vacation and returned yesterday evening. I tried to log on, but couldn't. So I'm wondering what happened. Last posts on some threads is 4 days old. Was KB off line for 4 days, or is it just that those posts were lost?

This website was off-line for at least over the weekend. OMG where would I go.

But shouldn't we expect, sometime in the near future, that (if) Brian closes shop, this board along with all the data will go bye bye?

I don't post here all that often, but visit often. I was surprised how much I missed the place when I was doing my koi rounds. I was surprised by how much I need the KB fix. Anyhow, glad that it is back.

what happened? I thought we were through. Where would I go? Ebay? That gets old and expensive. It's nice that people are posting-the whole world could have changed in the two days the site was down. I even e-mailed Nancy to find out what happened.
