Welcome back Mike! You guy's made good time!

And thank you very very much for taking this show newbie under your wings yesterday and teaching me some things about koi! It was great! I enjoyed the show and seeing all those great koi! And do tell Russ thanks again and it was a pleasure meeting him and I'm tickled with my new koi!

We got home ok with our passengers and got them settled in QT just fine! I did note that it lost a nose guard though, do those grow back? Something I havn't encountered in all the reading!

One thing! Remind me next year to bring my windsheild wipers for my glasses and a raincoat,lol!

Kathy, you are talking about the barbels right? I have seen them grow back, grow back half way and not grow back at all.....

from the looks of your pics you liked tanks 9 and 10, that was Dan and sharon Olson's from Spokane. Last year they took the GC and came a long way to do it. Thier koi were the sanke and GR showa pictured in your postings...Thier koi are always wonderfully prepared. Very good koi keepers. The tancho was from leo and Virginia marsh-portland. Hard club workers and great ambassadores for the hobby.

I just would like to say to all the hard working club officers and members you did a wonderful job to pull off the show. Congrats to all!

Steve I am so sorry I missed you! Of course I didn't have a clue who I was looking for and sorry I missed you also Dick! Mike spent the day talking with me and teaching! So I spent a lot of time with Russ and Mike over at the PS Koi booth! So interesting to have some hands on! And yes I did! Congrats on the win!

Dick, no not the barbels, the nose guard (best I can think of to call it since they look like little nostril flaps or guards ) that sticks up between mouth and eye. Not sure what the correct term is! And yes, I really did enjoy those two tanks in particular! I did like the Kohaku in another tank that had a red nose spot, that one had me laughing! I do have some other photo's I took, I just didn't upload everything as some I couldn't get out of the glare enough on. I think the glare is very distracting and takes away from those marvelous koi!

OKAY - Here's the pics. In order, they are Grand Champion (owned by Carolyn Swanson), Reserve Grand Champion Shiro(over 30"), Young Champion Shiro, Baby Champion Kohaku. I can't find the pic of the Mature Champion. Can someone help us out? Also, the rest of the fish pics are of some I felt were worthy of posting as they were outstanding representatives in their classes. Maybe someone from the Northwest club can help with indentifying the owners of these very nice fish. The show was one of the best organized I've seen short of Gardena. The venue is fantastic and the food at the banquet was the best I've ever had at a banquet. Very classy job kudos go to Larry Christenson and all who helped and made the show a GREAT SUCCESS!! See you all next year (Ihope). It was also nice to be able to put names/faces together,especially the ones who post on here, Tamianth, Birdman and Dick Benbow. Also, for the first time in 3 years, Peter Entfield was able to make it to the show/banquet. Peter, it was great to meet you and chat with you.

This is REDICULOUS!! I can't post files over 50kb??? Jim, what's going on???

Okay, now I see that I have 19.95MB of attachments used. It won't let me post any more attachments!!

So, Jim, how do I get rid of those previous attachments so I can post more?

You got to go back and use file management and delete the old ones.

I was late and looked all over for you. I did find Birdman and I kept going up to strange women and saying, "Kathy?" Now all of them probably think I am nuts. Sorry I missed you!! Darn it.
