Toot my Horn a Little
Last fall I bought two Asagi's from Dick Benbow. One thing after another prevented us from getting together so I asked Dick to bring them to the Portland show and I would get them there. I am very proud to announce both of My/Dick's Asagi's took 1st place. My 1st ever koi show. Dick has been a real help and mentor to me and is was a real pleasure to meet him. He spent quite a bit of time with me showing me the in's and out's of showing and selecting Koi. Thank you Dick for all your help and your fine fish. I hope you are as proud of them as I am.

hahah! These folks have tried EVERYTHING to get me off this board! This is my third registration as all the rest are blocked in a hopeless 'technical loop'! But to be changed from JOHN to JOAN, well that may just be too much to bear! LOLs, JR

Now you have definitely entered the upper tier of the Rich (and infamous) koi keepers....having someone else raise and bring your koi to a show
Congratulations on ? ...well having someone else raise and show koi you barely touched
How does it feel? Ya got that feeling of accomplishment? Ya feel like you have learned about how to raise asagi? Got some understanding of how to control the water in your area so it doesn't ruin asagi? Finally understand how to prepare a koi for a show?
CONGRATS!

Way to go Dick (Don't get me wrong, I am referring to the person named "Dick" here.)
