Koi with "always open mouth"...

OK, so what do I do with this girl?
As I have said, she came this way. It's not from gnawing on rocks in my pond. The thing is, it's spreading. Another large fish purchased at the same time is showing sign of it. The mouth is getting a little distended and pink like the one shown here. So far there is no sign of deteriating flesh. It's not pebbles or anything stuck in their mouths.
Help is appreciated.

I've had a mouth stuck open on very young fish before. I physically manipulated the jaw - it was stuck and the grew fine and ate fine after that. I wouldn't leave the jaw stuck in this position for an extended time. The sooner you act the better is my opinion on this one. Others might have a different idea for you and this. This is from a huge experience level with a single fish that this happened to so take that into account but it worked for me.

How long has the fish been like this? Maybe the fish swallowed a insect that stung it.

There is signs of deterioration on the lips.
So its mouth rot?
Is this bacterial? What treatments are effective other than injection. I am squeemish about needles myself, and I just don't think I am ready to do this kind of thing. I am just getting the hang of handling my fish to do scrapes. Not that I think it's gross, but because I am afraid of hurting them.

Aquitori: The one pictured came that way, the other I bought at the same time/same tank is just starting to show signs of it too. Mouth is becoming distended, a little pink, and not closing tight like the other healthy fish. I bought them a few weeks ago.

Do I need to get a sample somehow from the mouth to scope?

Maybe something in the pond scared it!
