Hopefully you will see her at the Gardena Show after she retires from the All Japan Show...a couple more years? The owner wants her to "be all she can be".

My Sakai

Here's one of mine which I use for the avatar. This pic was captured in April 05' and she's bigger now.

dechoong . . .

Stunning. Dying to know: Has the sumi centered on the shoulder's white ground finished some more?

I agree that fish is quite stunning. Is there anyway you could let us see an updated photo?

Hi Don,

Thanks for the compliment. The sumi on the shoulder has indeed finished a little more than what the pic shows. However, it's the sumi surrounding the spot of hi near the dorsal fin that has really emerged. I think she still has a couple of years to go before all the sumi on her show themselves in full glory

I'll be netting her again coming October and will take a shot of her. If anyone is still interested in her progress I'll post a pic then.

I have to agree with Tony. Very nice body and pattern. The skin looks great and even in a clear tub the colors look excellent.

Thanx for the comments; they're greatly appreciated. I just can't wait for the fish to finish. There's a patch of sumi on the right side of the fish near the tail that's just lying underneath the skin. I wonder how that's gonna turn out. I wish I could look into the future to see the full grown version. :]
