Show us your Sakai Hiroshima Fish....

I have a few Sankes from them, but hard to take pics since they are my growing pond right now. I just want to see how many people from this board have fish from Sakai Hiroshima. I know our own Cocoyboy has a few .

Christmas in Japan

I hear Christmas in Japan starts around the beginning of October. It does not stop until May.

Neither do I, It's just a way of looking at Koi hunting season. To me it is truly Christmas time when they start to pull mud ponds. You don't know what you are getting until you empty the pond.LOL

I guess I don't understand what that has to do with X-MAS...

and here I thought it was about giving not "getting"

Don't remember when you were a kid, the feeling you got, not only the anticipation the night before, but the excitement of Christmas morning.
That's is what it is about to me, it is not the giving or getting, O.K. with Koi it is getting, it is the feeling. I think the feeling you get as a child for Christmas is totally unique.

Ok what if my koi doesn't turn out? Is that the feeling I am supposed to feel?
