Obvious it is female but from your early picture Kevin it looks male. Maybe somebody did a Katie Couric photo shop job to thin her up

If you're not from the states, a popular TV personality was put on the cover of a magazine but the editors thought the lady was too heavy so they photoshopped her picture to make her look thinner.

may seem!
there was an article by Dainichi explaining how to pick a top koi for little money, this photo was used as an example by them

Dainichi is correct.

Selecting future fish from this famous breeder takes a long time of study. The fact that not many dealers bring in Dainichi makes it hard for students/hobbyist like us to learn.
