Happy Birthday from EmeraldKoi - Hope you had a great day and thanks for all the help so far. I have started the cull on the baby showa fry and have so far selected 14 500 black fry from 50 000 babies, and put them into 1.2 mil liters of growing facility. I ahve another 10 000 to go, so have about 30 000 more showa fry to sift thru wthis weekend. I also have chosen 5000 black fry from 20 000 Utsuri (about 25% black fry) and have another that many to do as well. Have spawned kohaku yesterday and thank goodness they go strait in to grow!

Wow, Paul you certainly have your work cut out for you. When I first went to japan many decades ago I used to wonder why many of the folks that did the culling were always stooped back.....in the next few days you'll have a hard time straightening up! LOL! thanks for thr B'day wishes...
