Who's going to the Bakersfield Koi Show ?

I seen Laura's post on the Bakersfield koi show.. Bakersfield club is a bunch of really wonderfull people. We had the honor of hosting there last months meeting at our home. I must say we had a great time, all of there members are warm and friendly people, all thursting for more knowledge. If any of you have time for this show, I think it would be great for everyone to go and support this fine club. Frank and I will be showing, I know of a few others that will be going up there, Mark Whallen, Michael Chua, Chai T., I hope to see some of the Koi-Unit .

Well since I spend half of the week in the Central Valley the Bakersfield Show sounds great!!! Only 2 hours away from the "Banos"...hahahaha. I might convince some of the other Unit to come and check it out. Plus, it would be a great place to talk to the ZNA SoCal Heads bout Cali love...Maybe I can get Mr. Fujita to roll down there.

Since NorCal and SoCal Koi-Units are goin to met up, all I can say is "KOI-UNIT!!!" HAHAHAHAHAHA

The dates are wrong for us as we will be in Japan. When I first saw the post I got excited about going.

This will be a great way to kick off our trip to Japan, koi show 20,21,22 and then we leave for Japan the 24th.

Looking forward to seeing our freinds at the show. If anyone has time this weekend, take a drive up to Bakersfield, these people are all great koi kichi's. Steve Drake is the head judge and Tom Ayers is a candidate judge. Should be interesting to see my old friend Tom in a judging capacity. Frank and I will be arriving Friday morning to help the club with setup. Mark & Charlene Whalen will be arriving Saturday morning, or at least by cocktail time .

Antonio looking forward to seeing you and your Lady, remember Frank and I are buying dinner for you two.

Maybe you'll see Russ, Erwin and Mike in Niigata.... They will be in Yamamatsu for their harvest and Auction.
