Sakai Bloodline Chart

Sakai of Hiroshima has published a 50 page booklet that details the development and geneology of their Kohaku, Sanke and Showa bloodlines.

In addition to the Bloodline Chart, this booklet features in detail, most of the pairings of Broodstock utilised in Sakai's 2005 and 2006 breeding program.

Finally, ther is a listing of many of the major award winners that have resulted from these bloodlines, going back as far as 1997.

Pictured here is a sampling of the publication.

Sakai Broodstock Book

The good news is that they will be available soon. I picked up a couple of copies at the auction and ordered 200 copies for Pan Intercorp.

The bad news is that they were not free and are about as heavy as an issue of Koi Bito Magazine which means that there will be some freight costs involved.

In spite of all the costs involved, Pan Intercorp is determined to find a way to provide them to our customers at no charge.....but just how we will accomplish this still needs to be figured out....

Please post any brilliant ideas here and I'l l check back with y'all when I get back Stateside
