torazo showa

Hi!

I'm CKC's webmaster and newsletter editor (I prefer "media guru") and I just joined koi-bito. Great pictures, Dinh! Would you like to post any on our website?

The showa is mine. Here are some chronological pics of her, in order: Feb 05, May 05, March 06, Oct 06. She was 17" in Feb 05 and 22" at the show. I think she's very unique, too. We brought her especially to hear what Sakai-san thought, but I think he walked over, glanced in our tank, and walked away with nary a word of discussion. I had hoped a Japanese judge would appreciate an"old style" showa, but I have no idea if he did. So my husband and I are very pleased to hear that lots of other people enjoyed her.

Russ, I will keep you photographically updated on Baby Tancho Showa's development over the coming years!

Well come to the board Ellen, I dont think we got a chance to meet at the show since I was busy bagging Dinh's fish. Anyways, it is nice to see a hobbyist keep photographic records of their fishes development....Keep us informed on the progress of your Showa....Welcome again.

Hi MediaGuru,

Your showa is a good old showa and unique one.... I like the deep coal black sumi and clean hi on it.... I can tell how much you guys love it when seeing the way you catch her at the end of the show as shown in the attached pictures...

You can post all our pictures on this forum to your website... We have a lot more pictures taken from the Sac show... will post and send you more later... A lot of them were taken by Ann, my daughter.

Also, welcome to the board....
